Hello everyone! My name is Nicole and I’m a helper. And I want to tell you about parents day, that means self-management in MMC.
I want to say that all helpers become counselors, and counselors go on a day off, for each helper this is a huge experience in working with other children. Of course, there are difficulties, but when you see the result of your work, you understand that everything is not in vain. At the beginning of the day, we were divided into squads, and it resulted that our team was red.It made my work easier enough. The only problem was that after the helpers left, there were very few people in our team.
After that, we had the first group time. It went very well, all the guys got involved and started creating a dance for the sport tournament.Parents Day this year was unusual. It takes place in an online format and this year is no exception. A few days before the parents day, we were preparing a dance, which was actually shown on the live broadcast in zoom. After our performance for parents, we started the game «one minute to win it»It was necessary to earn coins in order to spend them later at an auction. I was leading the «Screaming candle» station.It was very interesting to watch from the side how people yell at the candle to extinguish the flame:)
After the game, we counted the coins and went to the auction. Our squad bought two lots, the first lot was Coca — Cola instead of compote for lunch, and the second was watermelon.Then there was a sports event where teams from each squad played basketball, and the rest showed cheerleading. The evening of the day went just fine. One of the MMC participants had a birthday, so tea with a piece of cake was provided.Next we had candlelight and a meeting of helpers, where everyone shared their feelings from this day. The emotions were very different, from tears to laughter. It was cool, we said all what we wanted to say for a long time. In conclusion, I want to say that it is not easy to be a helper, but you get great pleasure from what you do.
