Hello, everyone! I am Vlad, I am 15 years old and I am from Yaroslavl. This year like the last year I am a member of the Blue Team. Our name is Scamming Monkeys. And of course my favourite team is the Blue Team because I have many old and new friends here. We like participating in all the camp activities together.
Yesterday I was very excited about the quest game that we had in the evening. It was a game about Zodiac Signs and astrology. We had to go around the camp and complete different tasks given by the Zodiac Signs. For example, Libra which is my Zodiac sign, tried our balance skills. We had to walk on benches with our eyes closed and with a book on our heads. It was quite simple but interesting for me. We were the team which was the fastest in the camp. I think we will win.
I like everything. I hope this year will be my best year.

Hey hey hey!
Nice to meet y’all! I’m Dasha and this summer I work at MMC as a workshop leader. Apart from that, I’m currently a third-year student at the University of the Arts London, studying Design for Art Direction. Arts has always been an integral part of my personality and daily routine and I hope I can inspire kids to be more creative and imaginative.
I adored MMC as a child, coming here all year round. It is amazing and trembling how fate brought me here again after so many years. Thus, here I am again walking around the most familiar place on earth and sweetly remember all my childhood experiences.
During our workshop sessions, we try to develop different artistic skills. The point is not to achieve an outstanding result, but to awake a craving for fine and applied art in kids. I strongly believe that immersing yourself in art, even without having a lot of experience behind you, one is transformed for the better. And of course, the most important component of our lessons is in English. Behind each new project, there are new words and expressions that we try to remember with children and apply in everyday speech. I am always incredibly happy when I hear how even the youngest of our participants use the words that we learn in class in conversations with each other.
In addition to our lessons, we have a station at the option which kids can visit during the day. I don’t want to brag too much, but it is one of the most favourites among children! And, for me, this is a great indicator that children are still drawn to the beautiful. They want to create something with their own hands, blurt out the paint and help each other. We are always happy to interact with our participants, give them new impressions and experiences, and we hope that this summer at the MMC will fill them not only with new knowledge and acquaintances but also with various interests and hobbies for the future.
