I wrote Flyers test and I have 87,1%. I really satisfied with this result, but I know that I can do better.
During stations and options we had table football competition. Me and my friend Kirill were at the one team named “France”. We won “Spain”. But unfortunately, we lost “Kazakhstan”. In this team there were really professional players from the first tribe, so we hadn’t got any chances. However, I really enjoy this competition.
In the evening we had a game called “Sounds of Nature”. In this game we need to guess different melodies and dance. After this event we were really tired and slept very well.
As you can see, this day was really cool. Thanks for your attention.

Greetings! My name is Artyom, and I have the pleasure of being one of the teachers here at the MMC. We are responsible for test preparation lessons that help the participants to get used to the format of their final exams. The tests are divided into levels according to the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR), from A1 (Beginner) to C2 (Professional), and are the exact copies of authentic Cambridge Tests taken directly from the official site. It means that the participants will not only prove their knowledge, but will also get ready for the true tests should they ever take any.

Though in general our task is to work on the test exercises, we create unusual lesson plans so that kids can practice the skills needed for exams and have fun at the same time. We spend several days working on each aspect of language mastery (reading, writing, listening and speaking), and make sure to practice the most difficult parts – mixing exercises with games and other relaxing and educating activities.

Today it was an important day for all the participants: instead of ordinary lessons we have almost every day they were taking the so-called sample tests. They were given parts of the true exams (mostly reading, but the exact set of parts depended on the level of the test), and they needed to complete as many exercises as they could in one 50-minute lesson. The participants were free to choose the tests themselves, so that after completing them and receiving the results they knew in advance whether they were ready for this level or not – if a PET is too hard, the final exam will be KET, if too easy – FCE will be the choice. Kids were quite nervous today because of it all, but most of them did an outstanding job judging from the results, and later during the day many of them were very interested in knowing their marks in advance. The today’s tests made the final ones much easier for the participants, as now they know what they are going to face, and are more confident in their abilities. We know that they will do well during the exams, and will do our best to help them.
