The Story Book Was Stolen, But Quickly Found

Nomad’s Story

Hi everyone! I’m Tonya from the yellow team!

Today in the morning we had a warm-up and breakfast, It was very tasty! After that, we went to the huddle, where we were talking about the word, the saying, tongue twister of the day. Then, we had English, and we learned about space. Later, we went to do sports. We had a floorball and swimming pool, I liked it a lot! Then, we had the second huddle, where we played some games. After that, we went to the workshop and made a moon dream catcher. In the middle of the day we had lunch. We had a vermishell soup and buckwheat with liver. Then, we had nap time, where we were playing Mafia and UNO.

In the evening we had stations at option. There was a choice: English, workshop or swimming pool. I was swimming in the pool all stations long and then we went to dinner. We had amazing spaghetti with cheese and ketchup! 40 minutes later there was an interesting event. We had to complete some tasks and find the Oasis book. At the end of the day we were tired a lot and prepared for sleep. That was my fifth day in the MMC camp!

Vizier’s Story

Hello everyone! My name is Sonya, and this session is the first I work as a counsellor here at MMC. As a child, I also attended this camp several times. Over the years, I’ve been impressed by the way my counselors encouraged me to grow both academically and personally. Little did I suspect that I would become a member of the staff team one day. Now I’m truly proud to be a part of the community dedicated to ensuring that campers have an unforgettable time.

Another great aspect of working at MMC is that I get to see how enthusiastic the kids are about taking on new challenges every single day. Today, we spent a lot of time doing team building during the group time, playing games that bring the kids closer together and strengthen their team spirit. Of course, physical activity did not take the last place in today’s pastime of children. Everyone developed floorball skills and also went to the swimming pool. And in the Alchemy club the participants of the program created unique moon dream catchers which will remind them of the best moments long after the end of the session.

“The vanished book” — the name of the quest the campers had in the evening. The task of each team was to go through several tests to help the Sultan identify the thief. The quest helped not only to bring back the main book of the Oasis, but also to unite the children in front of one goal.

Looking ahead, tomorrow promises more exciting adventures for the yellow team, which name is “Sunny pill”. I believe, contrary to a line from a famous song, that our life here will never be filled with rain. Keep shining, my bright stars!
