Nomad’s Story
My name is Maya, I am in the green team. The name of our team is Magical Snakes!
Yesterday the weather was sunny and it was hot.
First of all, we made an amulet in the alchemy lab, and you needed a lot of patience because it was hard but still very interesting to make it!
In our English class with a native speaker we learned about new sports such as soccer, and I learned that dancing was a sport which is amazing!
During sport time we played volleyball. I had strong boys and girls in my team so we won!
Later we made a poster which we used during the sport competition and it was amazing! In the competition we had a lot of rounds. Each round was quite hard, my favorite one was with special sand shoes because it was so funny!
In the end Shehezerade and Sultan gave us hats with our names on them! I was very happy and proud of myself and my team! We put up a good fight so we were on the 3rd place!
Next day I hope for us to be on the 1st place! I think we will do it and I’m excited for it!

Vizier’s Story
Hi everyone, my name is Liza aka Lizel for this session. I’m the counselor of the green team but please, call us by our team name — Magical Snakes! Yesterday was a really great day for us. In the morning it was a bit chilly, although later in the day everybody was soaking up the sun. From the very beginning of they day it felt like the whole camp was filled with an atmosphere of joy and excitement.
In the morning we had a creative project where we generated ideas and jointly designed a poster which we later used to support and cheer our team on during a competion! Each team member put impact in its creation, left a signature with their name and a little doodle on it. It was heartwarming to watch the kids work together and share ideas.
Throughout the day, we moved from one engaging activity to another from art workshop, team-building games, entertaining english classes to sport activities and each one was bringing out laughter and bonding among the children.
But the highlight of the day was definitely the evening sports competition. The entire camp gathered on the field, divided by teams, and the energy was totally thrilling. We had running relays, obstacle courses, and team dances. I absolutely adored the way our team cooperated and supported each other. The tension had everyone cheering and jumping with excitement, yelling the names of the contestants and waving the team poster we created all together. The crew members were encouraging one another and constantly chanting the name of our team — Magical Snakes to cheer each other on!
In the morning we learned the phrase of the day — put up a good fight. And the kids gave it their all, repeatedly saying these words to remember that even if we don’t win, it’s all about effort, spirit, and friendship which made the atmosphere incredible.
After the competition each kid recieved a panama hat with their own names on it and the camp’s logo as a present! Seeing their excited smiling faces at the end of the day reminded what all this is for.
Every day, these kids go through moments of growth, joy, and connection and having an opportunity to participate in their camp experience is just something special. A special thanks to my counselor partner Veronika aka Nikari with whom we shared the excitement for the kids and helped for all the events go as smoothly as we could!
