Start of the 5th session!

Hi everyone! I am Alina from the Red Team. July 24th marked our first full day in MMC, where we started the journey of becoming a real team and forming friendships. In the morning, we began with a pleasant warm-up followed by a delicious breakfast. Soon after, we had our first Xandaah-5 morning meeting, which allowed us to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of our planet. During this meeting, we appointed the leader of the day and raised our team flags for the very first time in this session.

The day was filled with various activities, including our first lessons: sports, floorball, workshops, and space boxes. Of course, we had English class too. Meeting people from different countries and talking with native speakers was a nice experience. It’s evident that MMC provides a great opportunity to enhance our English skills with their assistance.

During ‘Rover Time,’ we learned a lot about our teammates and counselors. In addition, we decided on our team name and motto, and now our Red Team proudly goes by the name «Since 1961.» With all teams well-prepared, we were eager to explore Xendaah-5 together.

We also had a station for ‘options,’ allowing us to choose the lessons we wanted to attend. Later in the evening, we enjoyed the ‘cosmic rhythm’ session, filled with laughter and energetic activities! And, what better way to conclude a long day than with a disco? We danced nonstop, making good memories. Additionally, we received our first fuel, a great reward for our efforts.

I would like to share a cool opportunity available to everyone in the Red Team: becoming a helper. This role involves helping the counselors, leading morning activities, and lending a hand during evening events. I am truly grateful for this awesome experience.

This sums up our amazing day, filled with a multitude of activities and unforgettable moments.

Greetings to all the parents, and friends of the English + camp! Allow me to introduce myself once more; I’m Kofi, the enthusiastic and dedicated Ranger for the Red Rovers. Today has been nothing short of amazing, and I couldn’t be prouder of my young adventurers.

The day commenced with the sun gracing us at 8 am, and as always, I made sure to knock on the doors of my team members to greet them with a warm smile and a cheerful «Hello!»
Our morning warm-up routine is an essential part of our daily activities. Together, we all stretched and got our bodies moving, ready for an active day ahead. Following this, we headed to the dining hall for a scrumptious breakfast.

Astro Athletics proved to be a hit today as we engaged in a friendly game of floorball. The girls, in particular, displayed extraordinary teamwork, supporting and encouraging each other throughout the game. Such moments make me realize the power of collaboration and unity.

During our special Rover time, we engaged in an array of games and activities, each designed to enhance the children’s language skills. Two particular games, «M&M, and curtains,» captured their hearts. The enthusiasm that filled the air were infectious, and it reminded me why I love being a part of the English + program. During lunchtime and dinner, appetites were satiated with delicious and nourishing meals.

In general, the team had an awesome day, and I am incredibly grateful for the enthusiasm and commitment they put into every activity.
My only wish is that every child takes away not just improved English skills but also cherished memories and lasting friendships.
