Hi everyone!!
My name is Polina, I am from the red crew and a helper for this session. Today was an amazing day!
Our day started with radio presentation where I spoke briefly about the activities of the day, the word of the day, saying of the day etc. It was quite entertaining, and even my friends were listening closely. At 8:20 am sharp, we got moving with «shaking bones,» our warm-up activity. I absolutely loved it!
Next up was breakfast – pancakes and tea, it was nice. After, the helpers and I put on a performance of «podvodka.» It was so amazing. The day was filled with exciting activities. We had sports time at the swimming pool, which was loads of fun and also, we created the name and motto for all crew. My crew which is the red crew has a name ‘ship ghost’. But the most important activity of the day to me was the English lessons. It was wonderful. We also visited the shipyard to create our own boxes for keeping things during the session. It was so nice. shipyard is always a nice place to be, especially when we got to design our crew flag and poster together. It was such a great experience! In the evening, we had a special event called the Shipmates Shinding. I helped organize some tasks and even got everyone to showcase their dance moves. It was great, and I’m already looking forward to doing it again!
We ended the day with a mini disco. It was cool, and everyone, from the kids to the captains, really enjoyed it. By 22:30, we went to bed.
This has been one of the best days of the session so far.

Crew sea name: Crab
Hello!!
Today was the first full day of our session at MMC, and even though it was quite warm, nothing could dampen our spirits. Everyone was excited and ready to dive into the fun!
I’m David, but around here, everyone knows me as «Crab.» I come from Ghana, and I study at the National Research University Higher School of Economics. I’m a native English speaker and consider myself a global citizen thanks to my diverse experiences.
Our day began with a lively warm-up session. All the kids and staff participated eagerly, setting a positive tone for the day. After warming up, the kids tidied their rooms before heading off to breakfast. The yellow and green crews enjoyed their meal while the blue and red crews had their first group meetings. During these meetings, we came up with crew names and mottos. My crew proudly chose the name ‘Ship Ghosts.’ This time was filled with laughter and creativity.
Next, the kids attended their first English lesson of the session. They all had a great time and learned a lot. We also had a shipyard lesson where the kids made boxes they’ll use throughout the session. After lunch, we had a relaxing nap time. In the evening, we gathered for a shipmates’ shindig. Each crew showcased their dance moves, and it was a blast! We ended the day with a mini disco, shaking our bones and dancing away any stress.
If I could relive my childhood, I’d definitely want to attend MMC in Nerekhta. For now, I cherish my role as a captain, experiencing the joys of childhood through the eyes of these amazing kids. If you think there’s a better adventure out there, you must be joking!
