I’m highly excited to share my unforgettable day at MMC English Camp! Get ready for stories of friendship, learning, and amazing discoveries! I’m Alexander, your friendly prophet here at camp. As a prophet, I inspire kids to discover the joy of English through classroom lessons, games, activities, and creative play! As a teacher, I help campers gain confidence in English during lessons, then join them at activity stations where we learn through fun. Nothing makes me happier than seeing children’s faces light up as they express themselves in English, turning every moment into an exciting adventure!
As the sun rose at 8:00 AM on our final day at MMC English Camp, the air was filled with both excitement and a touch of sadness. We slowly woke up, rubbing sleep from our eyes, knowing this would be our last morning together in our cozy shelters. Our day began with the familiar «Shaking the Bones» dance that always got us laughing and moving, no matter how sleepy we felt. After working together to clean our living spaces one last time, we gathered under the shade of the Date Palm tree where the counselors announced our special final day challenge — each team would prepare a lipsy performance for the evening’s grand show.
The morning continued with our usual routines, but everything felt more meaningful because it was our last time doing these activities together. The Yellow and Green teams enjoyed their breakfast first, filling the dining hall with chatter and the delicious smell of our food, while the Blue and Red teams patiently waited their turn. During English lessons, we had a lot of fun activities and discussed our test results.
Out on the sports field, the competition was friendly but fierce as we played floorball, basketball and volleyball, each team trying their hardest to earn those valuable extra points. The Alchemy Lab was filled with cheerful conversation and creativity as we put the finishing touches on our special projects. Lunchtime brought our favorite bosh soup, rice and wheat, which we ate while sharing stories and laughter. Some campers chose to rest during nap time, while others gathered in Sultan’s Keep to watch movies.
The afternoon was busy with packing our belongings and rehearsing for the big show. All around camp, you could hear teams practicing their performances. As evening fell, we enjoyed our final dinner together. Then came the moment we’d all been preparing for — the grand performance! Each team brought their best to the stage. All the performances were engaging and marvelous. Kids displayed the talents and skills. It was very hard to decide who emerged as a winner, However, blue team emerged as the overall winner over all the teams in this session.
When the show ended, we gathered in a big for Huggy Wuggy, our special time to share memories and say goodbye. There were hugs, kind words, and even some tears as we realized our amazing time together was ending. Though we’re excited to see our families again, we’ll always remember the friends we made, the things we learned, and the fun we had at MMC English Camp.
We want to say thank you for this unforgettable experience. Our minds have grown stronger, our hearts have grown bigger, and the memories we’ve made will stay with us forever. Parents, when we come home, you’ll find our hearts full of wonderful camp stories to share. It was highly unforgettable session, MMC!
