Hello!
My name is Taisya and I’m from Yaroslavl, Russia. I’m 12 years old and this is my third time of partaking in the camp at MMC. I like this camp so much because it’s a wonderful place to make a lot of friends. I also enjoy the treat given us, especially with respect to our feeding. My favourite food is pancakes and soup.
Everyday is interesting and cool but today was special. During the first half of the day, we had our English-Speaking test and it was cool. After this, we headed to my favourite lesson, Workshop. During this lesson, you can do something interesting of your own and our instructor, Polyna, is very good and cool. We also had group times where we discuss our performances in various activities. It is always fun to be with my group members and I love them.
In the evening, we had an exciting but educative activity called business game. At this time, various groups presented several business ideas and if approved begin operation to earn some points for their team. I was really excited when my group’s business was approved but the greater part of this excitement came from the clients who visited us for our service. They were very happy and appreciated us a lot. This activity is very interesting and cool. MMC Nerekhta is the best camp in my life!

Wow, such an amazing and wonderful family we have here at MMC. The experience is superb and refreshing. If you seek for a lovely place to have fun and also learn then let’s take a stroll with my experience at the International Youth Camp in Nerekta. David Owusu-Mensah is my name and I hail from the Republic of Ghana in West Africa. I am pursuing a master’s degree programme, Economics and Economic Policy, at the Higher School of Economics, Moscow and thus have gained permanent residency in the Russian Federation.
It is my first time of partaking in an International Youth Camp as a counsellor and I must admit that it is really exciting. The social atmosphere created here is more than enough to comfort and refreshen you. Everyone is welcoming and always seeking to make you smile. Nevertheless, my team always does it best. These kids are adorable and lovely to be with.
The day began with a fine weather which supported the activities for the day. We had a great group time, discussing activities of the previous day and how best we can make today’s better. It is always fun and excitement to listen to the brilliant ideas of these wonderful kids. It was also a test day and my fantastic co-counsellor, Anna, offered an excellent idea. We prepared their minds and calmed their nerves with an educative movie as they went in turns to take their English-Speaking test. It was heart warming to see most of the kids returning with smiles on their faces.
Workshop with Polyna was also enjoying as each kid demonstrated his/her creativity and artistic skills. Sports with Max and Stas was also amazing. It was swimming and rock climbing and the excitement on their faces tells it all. The day was climaxed with a ‘Business Game’ where teams led by their members presented their business ideas and began operation. It was awesome to see how these young ones were creative to compete for clients and deliver professional services.
