Hi!
My name is Vika, and I’m part of the Blue Crew. Today started early at 8:00 AM. First thing, my friends and I did some exercises to get ready for the day. Then, we all sat together for breakfast. After that, we had lessons. We learned a lot today — we had sports, English, and shipyard lessons!
After our lessons, it was lunchtime, and then we had a naptime. Some kids chose to sleep, others wanted to chat, but my friends and I decided to plan our performance because we were performing later that night. I really liked how everyone in our team helped out. We all worked together, just like they say, «Teamwork makes the dream work!» Yesterday, I saw that saying come true!

Our show was awesome! We made a few little mistakes, but everyone worked together, and it was fun. By the evening, we were super tired. After having a snack, we went to bed. Today was amazing — hard work, but so much fun. I loved every minute of it!

Hello everyone!
Today is our second day of this session which in turn to be the last session of the summer. Even though it was a bit cold, we all stayed cheerful and excited. I’m David, also known as «Crab.» I come from Ghana and study at the National Research University Higher School of Economics. English is my first language, and I feel like a global citizen because of my many experiences.
We started our day with a lively warm-up session that everyone enjoyed. After that, the kids cleaned their rooms. Then, the yellow and green crews had breakfast, while the blue and red crews met in groups. We talked about the words of the day and checked how everyone was feeling, which is very important to us. In our big meeting, each crew had to create a performance to introduce themselves that is, their crew’s name and how they came together as a group. My crew, the Blue Crew, also called «Blue Tooth,» got right to work. The kids formed small groups and came up with ideas for our performance. It was fun, and everyone got involved. In the end, we put on a great show that made all the kids smile.

The kids also played sports, learned English, and worked in the shipyard. They enjoyed everything and are looking forward to doing it again. In the evening, all the crews showed their performances on stage. Everyone did a great job, but I’m extra proud of the Blue Crew, led by Alina and me. Our kids were so happy about doing well. We got second place, and they were pleased. We finished the day with a quiet candlelight session where we shared our thoughts and feelings about what we did during the day. It was a nice moment for thinking and getting closer to each other.
If I could go back to being a kid, I’d ask my parents to send me to MMC in Nerekhta. Until then, I love being a captain and feeling the joy of being a kid again through these amazing kids. If you think there’s a better adventure out there, you’re probably joking.
MMC is the best English camp for your kids!
