Boys from our House did a great job for our evening event, because today we had performances. They wrote a script and prepared decorations. We really appreciate it! Next time we are going to help them as much as we can. We got a famous picture that we had to show on the stage. Every team did a great job!
Today our English teacher Richard made a speech, he said that it is very important to be yourself, to do what you love and love what you do. We were inspired by him!
Also today was a really hot day, that is why we got chance to swim in out swimming pool. It was really funny and we liked it so much! I hope the next days will be as hot as this one.
I love this camp and I feel here safe; it is really important thing for me. Every day here is unusual, we always do a lot of interesting things and we always learn something new. I would like to suggest this camp to everyone, come and see this beautiful place!

Hello everyone! Yesterday we had another great day here at MMC, Queensland. We all learned about beauty, vision, and images. We talked about never judging a book by its cover and giving everything a second chance.
The kids put on fantastic performances bringing art to life. They gave meaning to a still portrait with creativity and skill. Taking a famous Russian painting they gave it personality, making art fun. Not only was this a great way to learn English, but also a great time performing for one another. Kids had on costumes, made scenery, and were very involved throughout the whole process to put on their shows. Probably their favorite part was putting on their costume clothes and looking at themselves in the mirror. We even painted mustaches on some of them! The kids laugh so much watching each other and even laugh during their time own on stage. I have heard from many kids how much they loved this performance.
Yesterday was also the first day the kids had swimming during sports time. Nearly every kid said how much they love swimming and enjoyed this. This cool swim was especially needed on such a hot day. Our Gladiators are great instructors on safety and fun in the pool. The kids showed me all the swimming styles they learned afterwards like the backstroke and freestyle. With summer in full swing, the kids need time to escape the heat.
Queensland is full of surprises everyday keeping the kids active and involved. Performances by the Queen bring together the trial of the day with the camps medieval theme. This helps the kids understand and remember the English words better.
