Hello, dear Lords and Ladies! Today one more incredible day has passed, that’s why I’m so glad to tell you about it. At 8 o’clock, I got up and began getting ready for the day. Читать далее…
Then we had warm-up. At 9 o’clock, we had breakfast, and I enjoyed it a lot))) Then it was house time, where we discussed the word, saying and tongue twister of the day, (the tongue twister was difficult today). After house time, we had our routine courtyard meeting where our leaders of the day raised the flags.
Activities and lessons began after the meeting. The first activity was forge, where we made bubble makers and a painting out of bubbles. In this painting, we made the house from UP, and the balloons were made out of the bubbles. Next we had theater class, because there were no English lessons today. We had English speaking tests today, which were really easy in my opinion. We described pictures and answered questions. In the theater class, we closed our eyes and had to count to 25 as a group by clapping. It was really difficult. Then we had sport, where we played handball. After our opponents in this game got 2 goals, I went on the offense and I scored 2 goals! That’s why there was a tie at the end. Then we had a house time where we watched videos about curiosity and discussed them. I thought that they were very interesting. We also began to plan our movie for tomorrow during this house time. And the genre of this film is going to be a soap opera. We split into groups and began to create ideas for the plot of our film. At the end, we decided to combine all of our ideas. At the last house time of the day, we had meditation. There was beautiful and calm music, and we took our pillows and blankets and laid down, (I may have fallen asleep!). It was very relaxing and I really liked it. Before dinner, we assigned roles for our movie and I am going to play the role of a father. After this, we had a game called Intellectual Game. We were told that this would be a difficult game and it definitely was! There were 20 different trivia questions and we answered only some of them. After this game we had a snack and that’s how my day ended.
Looking forward for a new amazing day to start! Bye for now and sweet dreams!)

Hello! My name is Richard and I’m originally from the beautiful Isle of Man in the United Kingdom. I’ve been living in Russia now for 7 years until recently living in Nerehta but will soon move with my wife and 2 children to continue my Russian Chapter of life in Krasnodar.
I’ve worked as a Native English Teacher since 2015 when I began my teaching career here at MMC. Since then I’ve gained TKT Teaching qualification that has had me working in Kostroma, Yaroslavl and Gelendzhik. The previous year, I’ve been working for MMC producing the Instagram videos with the lovely Dasha!
I love teaching here at MMC as you form a great bonding with staff and children alike. It’s fascinating speaking with the dream team members which include Americans, Russians and recently another British lady called Katie! Woohoo an ally! Discovering cultures and listening to stories from other cultures and experiencing traditions has always been a fascination for me and I really do enjoy MMC for this fact!
The most important thing for me here at MMC…. the students! You form a great friendship with them, and they love to tell you about life for them back at home throughout Russia, they are always inquisitive
and if allowed, would interrogate you all day! I find as a teacher, keeping them amused and keeping them positive and happy is the best way for them to learn. Teaching has its perks and enjoyment but the strong team around you and especially the kids encourage you to keep going… even when things don’t go to plan!
MMC is a great example of what can be achieved when cool heads and great thoughts merge into one place, that can unite the love of English as a second language and creativity around crafts and sports! Never have I seen a faciality quite like MMC and you’ll be hard pushed to find somewhere better!
